Today a great number of high school seniors are faced with the reality that most of them will not complete postsecondary education. This is partially due to not having the proper resources to prepare them for their transition. Some students are fortunate to have transition programs in their district that recognizes that difficulty, and ensures the student success after achieving the programs goals. Did you have a transition program at your high school? Transition programs vary location to location. Some popular programs often listed in the past has been Upward Bound, TRIO, ABLE, and The Puente Project.
